A daily, sole charge Nanny is required to care for 2 children B4 and G1 – although B4 is at School full time and parents do the School runs so care is mainly required for G1 throughout term time and both during holidays.
Days/Hours – This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, hardworking, motivated, bubbly Nanny to work 43 hours each week (starting hours) over Monday-Friday.
The Nanny will work 3, 11-hour days 7am-6pm and 2, 5-hour days typically 10am-3pm.
There is the possibility that the hours may increase over the Summer.
Days are to be confirmed and may change every 2 weeks so the Nanny will have a rota which can be given 2 weeks in advance but the right candidate will need to be flexible with days moving around on occasion.
The Role – The Nannies main duty is to provide a good level of care to the children, playing with them, good interaction, providing activities inside the home and in the garden – the family are happy for the Nanny to suggest play ideas and will provide resources.
There is a local play group that runs that the Nanny may attend and there are some nice short walks close to the house.
G1 is a big daytime sleeper so during her nap other duties will include, children’s washing and ironing, keeping the kitchen and play areas tidy ie dishwasher, bins, wiping down surfaces, tidying toys, clothes, giving the toys a good clean once every week, sometimes carrying out bath/shower time and preparing meals for the children.
Requirements – The ideal Nanny will have at least 1 years Nanny experience, a Paediatric First Aid, a DBS Check, be a non-smoker, have good communication skills with both children and parents, be bright, bubbly and be a positive influence to the children by providing a safe, caring, warm and fun environment.
Additional Info – The Nanny may be asked to go on holidays next year with the family if this is something they would be interested in.
Mum works from home 2-3 days per week.
Pay – Depending on experience.
